13 NYC Films To Put You In The Holiday Spirit!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year!  While summer may trump winter as my favorite season, there is truly nothing more magical than NYC around the holidays!  The twinkle lights, the store windows, the carolers!  Oh, how I love the carolers:-)  And on cold, blustery evenings when the sun dips down at 4pm and the wind cuts right through all 7 layers you have on, biting at your core, is there anything more magical than watching that winter wonderland that is our beautiful city in movie format, snuggled up on your couch with a cuppa cocoa?  I think not.

Whether you’re a New Yorker trying to not catch pneumonia or live half way around the world and just want to evoke that magical NYC holiday vibe, here are 13 films featuring NYC at the holidays that truly bring out the Tiny Tim Christmas spirit in all of us.  While they don’t all center around Christmas entirely, there’s at least a Christmasy scene or motif in each and every one of them.  Sit back, relax, and enjoy the holidays:-)
