Long time followers of UYC know we are all about a good deal to be found in the city! Because, let’s be real, whether you spend $60 per person on brunch or $30, the most important thing is that you are out and about with those you love (or at least like;-), enjoying the city you live in. So when I recently stumbled upon an unlimited boozy brunch on the Upper West Side for $16…well. I just couldn’t wait to share it with you all!
The magic happens at Olma Caviar Boutique & Lounge. The menu lets you choose a beverage (mary’s + mimosas are unlimited and, unlike many other boozy brunches in the city, are heavy on the champagne and light on the OJ! so i can imagine the bloody mary has a similar pour!), along with an appetizer and an entree. I went with mimosa(s), french toast sticks, and baked eggs, smothered in mozzarella and topped off with spinach and tomatoes. They were really, really tasty!
And of course, as the name would suggest, Olma is most famously known for its caviar–so if that’s your cuppa tea, I’d totally say go for the black caviar open-face sandwich, which is also included on the brunch menu. Like any Russian restaurant, Olma features a nice amount of flair–from the gold accents to the bejeweled Fabergé Egg Case Display, showcasing their finest caviar and champers–your weekend brunch feels instantly elevated. And, weather permitting, there’s quite a bit of outdoor sidewalk seating, as well. See and be seen! Happy brunching, Upper West Siders!
