We at UsedYorkCity love connecting our readers with favorite gems we’ve found and treasure around the city…be they food and fashion, people and places, or charities and culture.  Recently we stumbled across another NYC based organization that shares our passion of connecting New Yorkers with their neighborhood…and their neighbors.  The fabulous organization I speak of is Romio: a site that connects NYC businesses, organizations, and groups around their interests in the neighborhoods where they live, work and play.

Much like the Romeo from Verona that Shakespeare junkies know and love, I’m confident once you experience the Romio of NYC, you’ll love them, too.  The concept is simple: ask questions about the city, and get timely, quality answers from your neighbors.  Looking for a personal trainer on the UWS?  Need an affordable dog walker in Sunnyside?  How about an intimate wine bar in Chinatown to take your date Friday night?  Go to Romio and ask away.  Answers from locals are awaiting!
