Noteworthy New Yorkers: Project Paz
Mother Theresa said, “If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other.” Keeping that in mind, Project Paz is a New York based non-profit created by a group of professionals to promote peace in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. Their mission is to reach out to their peers in New York and other areas to increase their awareness on the need for peace in Ciudad Juarez and to involve them in Project Paz’s cause.
To help with that cause, Project Paz is now having its third annual Project Art fundraiser. This event will be held on December 17, 2012 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at DJ David Lipke, 82 Mercer Street, New York. There will be a silent art auction and cocktail party. In addition, the event will feature contemporary art and unique photographs!
So if you cherish living in peace, and want to contribute to the peace of others, then click HERE and buy a ticket for this all important fundraiser!

Precisely:-)
Interesting project. I’ve been to Ciudad Juarez a few times I didn’t realize the crime rate had escalated so much. Thank you for opening my eyes to this project! Excellent post.
