New Yorker Moments
Happy Valentine’s Day, Readers! Cheesy as it sounds, V-Day has been my favorite holiday since the days of exchanging cards and candy hearts in elementary school. Don’t get me wrong, I whole heartedly believe (along with most of the rest of humanity), that we should celebrate the ones we love every day. But sometimes life gets in the way, and small gestures of love and friendship go unsent. Here’s to taking time out of our day to celebrate those dearest to us, in whatever way inspires you!
These are my New Yorker moments from 2013 that have been filled with love. Share yours below!
{While it has long been my favorite building in the world, the New York Public Library now holds an even bigger place in my heart as my favorite person in the whole world recently proposed to me right inside…(and I said absofrigginlutely!)}
{Meeting Chef Daniel Boulud and savoring every last morsel of his 8 course vegetarian tasting menu}
{Winter walks through the city I love, and taking time to just stop and smell the roses}
{Visiting The Mayflower Inn for a weekend getaway and reading in their cozy library}
{Spending evenings snuggled on the couch with my Gillman, watching back-to-back episodes of our favorite Netflix shows}

Wonderful images–so crisp, clear and heartfelt. Especially liked the NYC Library. What a gorgeous building. I can’t believe I didn’t go inside when I was there.
You seem like the type of gal who would love Valentine’s Day
. I bought a tiny, lovely chocolate cake for my kid and I must admit, I felt so much better.
Happy Valentine’s Day!

I vote for the tasting menu for best in show, but they all look lovely.
