New Yorker Moments

Happy Fall, readers!  While waving goodbye to summer is always bittersweet, I’m very much looking forward to a few essentials that come with a NYC autumn: breaking out the bubble jacket ordering a vintage faux-fur coat that I’ll be donning over my wedding dress(!!!), the changing leaves in Central Park, and of course, pumpkin spice everything.

What do you most look forward to in fall?

  1. The fall foliage in Central Park is definitely one of my favorite aspects of autumn in NYC! I also like the crisp fall temperatures (until it gets TOO cold). :) And I usually enjoy Thanksgiving and the various traditions that go with it in this city (such as watching the balloon inflation near the American Museum of Natural History the night before) — although this year I will actually be out of the country for Turkey Day. I also like no longer sweating when I’m in subway stations waiting for trains. :)
