From The Lips Of A Local

Each week we feature a different local, sharing their unique experiences on what makes NYC the best place, ever.  Hey, we never said New Yorkers weren’t cocky.

This week we’re delighted to be chatting with Stuy Town mom, Meredith Shaller Cardali!

Name: Meredith Shaller Cardali

Occupation: Special Education Consultant/ Rodan and Fields Independent Conslutant

New Yorker since: 2001

What hood do you live in? Stuyvesant Town

Where do you get your morning coffee? Dunkin Donuts

Restaurant you’d be really, really sad bordering on clinically depressed if they closed: Ponty Bistro…it’s amazing!

Every tourist must visit: The Statue of Liberty…there’s something so wonderful about seeing Lady Liberty!

NYC trend you’re currently loving/hating: Loving all the pop-up shops, hating the bobba bubble teas (they are NOT healthy!)

Favorite way to while away a (non-workday!) NYC afternoon: There are so many!  A picnic/playground date with the amazing Stuy Town families, a trip to the Highline followed by Chelsea Market, going to Coney Island, or heading to the Central Park Zoo & Carousel.

NYC’s best kept secret: If you are a foodie like me then definitely the Hester Street Fair.

To connect with this awesome New Yorker (and to check out her shop), visit her here.
