Happy Thanksgiving! (and a tiny commercial break!)

Happy Thanksgiving to all our fabulous readers!  Hope you’re spending time with your favorite people eating all your favorite foods!

For the first time ever, I’m staying in NYC for the holiday!  You may remember one of my 4 simple goals before the new year was to watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in person…well, that’s totally happening right now!  Make sure to check our Instagram feed for streaming photos!  After which we’re headed back to the apartment to cook (with a lotta little help from Whole Foods), and to enjoy the evening with family and friends.

On another note…I’ll be taking a little break from regular posting this month (but don’t worry, I have a few holiday themed posts for you pre-scheduled!).  The long awaited wedding celebration is happening December 6th, so I have my hands busy doing last minute glitter projects and spending time with my out of town loved ones!  The (surprise!) honeymoon will be taking place over the Christmas/New Year holiday, and I’m told we’ll have limited internet access!  Again, photos will be streaming on Instagram, and I’ll be sure to share the whole story with you guys soon!

From the Team at UYC, we wish you all the happiest holiday!

Oh my gosh, that Macy’s parade is so on my (very long) bucket list, Jess! That is so cool that you got to go to it. That picture with the cheerleaders (?) reminded of the ending of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and the song Twist and Shout :) I was thinking about that previous post from Stephanie and you have the most awesome contacts and know the most fascinating people! Happy Belated Thanksgiving to you and your family :)
