Art To The Rescue! (…plus all these cute adoptable pooches!)

Guys!  Remember back in December when I shared my 4 simple goals with you?  And how one of them involved pooches?  (I mean, what else what it involve, really??)  Well, I’m delighted to share that we just attended our first fundraising event for the Animal Care & Control of NYC, a delightful evening called Art to the Rescue.

Held at the Marlborough Gallery in midtown, the art of Grisha Bruskin and Bill Jacklin was on exhibit.  A live and silent auction was going on, including gems such as an authentic Salvador Dali Lihograph, silk scarves by Chanel (I bid!  I lost!), personal training sessions with the city’s top trainers, and Broadway tickets.  But most importantly, I had the best time mingling with the most important (not to mention cutest!) guests of the evening, the adoptable animals themselves!  How sweet are they?!

With over 30,000 animals that the organizations takes in a year, it was refreshing to know that one hundred percent of the proceeds from the evening went straight to the organization…something I think we can all wag our tale about.

Interested in adopting your own sweet New Yorker?  All kinds of lovelies are waiting to say hi, stop by one of their shelter locations today!
