Postcards To NYC

The Modern by

Dearest NYC,

Dining in MOMA’s restaurant, The Modern, certainly promises to have aesthetically pleasing plates.  But for a dish on sensory overload, delighting the palate even more so than the eyes, order that little dish in the middle, the poached egg, porcini mushrooms, buttermilk and sorrel.  Tastebud tingles, promise!

  1. That looks very good! I’ve been to Moma, but I don’t remember a restaurant, I guess because it didn’t exist then?

Hmm, probably! The renovated MOMA is only a few years old, so that’s probably why. Give it a try next time, for sure!

And it’s attached to the MOMA, I know you would have enjoyed looking at the art, Stevie!

Mmmm that sounds good. We ate at the cafe in the MoMo, though the only thing I remember was the heavenly mixed berry crumble.
