Between The Seas Festival + Giveaway

This contest has officially ended.  A huge New York thank you to all who participated, and congrats to our winner, Leslie!  Stay tuned for more exciting UsedYorkCity.com giveaways!

Happy Monday!  We’re thrilled to share with you an upcoming contemporary dance/theater/music festival that we love and are huge fans of here at UsedYorkCity…and of course, giveaway some tickets!

unnamed-6

All the pieces in the Between The Seas Festival stem from a Mediterranean influence, which makes this the only festival of its kind in NYC.  Now in its 4th year, the festival runs from Monday, July 21 – Sunday, July 27, and will be held at The Wild Project in the East Village.

This year’s highlights include a world premiere adaptation of Chuck Mee’s Matisse’s Self Portrait; new work by the choreographer Nejla Yatkin, and the return of Balletto di Sardegna with new provocative dance inspired by designer Elsa Schiaparelli.  I went last year (and even shouted it out in my New Yorker Moments, always a sign it was amazing!) and loved every minute!

Want those tickets?  Here’s how to enter:

1. Subscribe to Used York City, getting the best picks of NYC delivered straight to your inbox.  (Don’t forget to respond to the verification message you are sent via email.  Previous subscribers are, of course, automatically entered.)

For a bonus entry:

1.  Like us on Facebook!

The contest will run until Wednesday, July 16th, 2014, at which time a winner will be randomly chosen and announced on this post and via Twitter, and the winner will be notified directly by the email address that they subscribed with!  Best of luck to all our readers!

And if you don’t win the contest, you can still get a great deal on tickets to the festival right here!
