With the holiday season quickly approaching us, opportunities to get dolled up are aplenty.  From Friendsgiving to Thanksgiving, holiday work happy hours to Midnight Mass, winter weddings to ringing in 2017, it’s the time of year to bring out your merriest and brightest threads.

In case you need a little inspiration, here’s 5 dresses we’re completely loving right now.

Perfect for: Christmas with the in-laws

I have been swooning over emerald green the past few seasons, so naturally this shift dress popped out immediately as a favorite to me.  The hue lends itself perfectly to all things Christmas.

Perfect for: Thanksgiving or weekend brunch

The first thing I bring out of storage for the fall season is tartan everything…tartan throw pillows, tartan wool blankets, and yes, my tartan holiday dress!  I feel like it’s just one of those designs that never goes out of style, right?  This sweet little number is casual enough for a weekend brunch, while still keeping it several steps above jeans.

Perfect for: Holiday work parties

Tweed is the quintessential fall fabric, and this midi dress pulls it together perfectly.  It has that timeless look, so you don’t quite know if it’s 1950 or 2016.  It works just as well for work meetings as it does holiday caroling with a cup of cider in hand!

Perfect for: Ringing in 2017

A tea length skirt of tulle is fun all year round, but especially festive during the holidays.  Depending on what you pair on top, it can easily be dressed up or down for the occasion.

Perfect for: Holiday shopping and lunch with friends

Fall florals are all the rage this season, and this botanical print fits right in, keeping things interesting with a tie neck and a longer length.  We love the boho feel of this for autumn activities like apple pie baking or grabbing a pumpkin spice latte with your bestie.

Would love to know…which one is your favorite?  Share below!

Comfortable should be my first priority! The last thing I want to do is be fidgeting with my outfit and there are many more important things to be think about.

Love 2 and 3! I had a Nicole Miller skirt similar to the 4th black too. Hung in my closet for years complete with tag. One day my hubby decides to clean out the closet and return all things with tags, got back almost $600, on top of over $1100 that my brother had gotten from his raiding my closet. We took the skirt back to Nordstroms..it wouldn’t scan 😀. She went away, came back with someone, they decipher it and find l purchased it in 1989 !!!! No $147 refund . My husband realized why it was still hanging, my brother had tried the same ☺️☺️☺️. Thank god l’m over mTerial stuff like that..haha!
