Each week we’ll be featuring a different local, sharing their unique experiences on what makes NYC the best place, ever. Hey, we never said New Yorkers weren’t cocky.
This week we’re delighted to kick-off the series with the fabulous foodie and YouTube extraordinaire, Bobby DoTube!
Name: Bob Mitchell, AKA Bobby DoTube
Occupation: Food, Fashion, and Travel Vloger
New Yorker since: I was born in NYC in 1969, moved to Atlantic City, NJ, and moved back in 2005.
What hood do you live in? Staten Island
Where do you get your morning coffee? Don’t drink coffee but I get my morning Green juice at Taste Buds.
Restaurant you’d be really, really sad bordering on clinically depressed if they closed: Stand4 with The Toasted Marshmallow Milkshakes. They just shut down and I’m dying!
Every tourist must visit: Times Square
NYC trend you’re currently loving/hating: Loving the Cronuts, but hating the long lines to get one.
Favorite way to while away a (non-workday!) NYC afternoon: Having lunch at the Loeb Boathouse in Central Park in the summer.
NYC’s best kept secret: MiMi’s on 52 Street and 2 Avenue for their pork chops and NY strip cooked in hot cherry peppers.
