On Saturday, March 31st, 2012 The Imperial Court of New York will host its 26th annual Night of a Thousand Clowns fundraising event.  This fun, star-studded and glamorous event will be held in The Broadway Ballroom of The Marriott Marquis Hotel, at 1535 Broadway, New York, NY.  Dress is creative formal, black tie festive or dress uniform.  There will be a cocktail hour, a full-course dinner, dancing and let’s not forget the star-studded and fun entertainment!

The Imperial Court of New York is a not-for-profit organization, and since 1986 they have donated over a million dollars to gay, lesbian and transgender communities in the tri-state New York City region.  What sets The Imperial Court of New York apart as an organization is that besides their big hair, bigger jewels, and over-the-top regal attire, they have a unique attitude. While they’re having fun dressed in all their fineries they’re also opening their hearts and giving their time to help raise money for all of their beneficiaries.
