Total Vocal At Carnegie Hall + Giveaway

This contest has officially ended.  Congrats to Nina for being our ticket winner!

Anyone else a fan of Pitch Perfect 1 and 2?!  We personally can’t get enough of the a cappella classics sung by the groups, and were ten shades of excited when we found out cast members from the movies would be performing in true a cappella style at Carnegie Hall this month!

We’re thrilled to be partnering up with them, and offering a very lucky reader a pair of prime orchestra tickets to the show!  To enter, simply leave a comment below with the title of the song you can’t wait to hear them perform!  We’ll email the winner (and announce it here) Monday, March 14th.  Best of luck, and here’s more details!

TOTAL VOCAL is a contemporary a cappella concert coming to Carnegie Hall featuring music and cast members from the major motion picture PITCH PERFECT! Taking place on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at 2:00pm at Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage, Carnegie Hall, the second annual show will feature soloists/Barden Bellas Chrissie Fit, Ester Dean, and beatboxer Andrew “80Fitz” Fitzpatrick, the mega popular a cappella group The Filharmonic from NBC’s The Sing Off, as well as Stay Tuned and Highlands Voices from the hit Lifetime show Pitch Slapped! This exciting, upbeat whirlwind performance will include music from The Beatles, Adele, John Legend and many more!

The concert will be hosted and conducted by Deke Sharon (Music Arranger—The Sing Off, Pitch Slapped, Pitch Perfect, Pitch Perfect 2) and tickets start at just $20. Last year’s sold out show means tickets are going fast – get yours before it’s too late!

Oooh, this would be fantastic, I’m obsessed with both those movies (and their soundtracks)! :) Since the ad mentions Adele, I’d love to hear them tackle “Hello”…and from the orig ‘Pitch Perfect’, their rendition of “Since U Been Gone” would make me so happy, especially since Ester Dean kicks butt on her vocal part of it!!

Wouldn’t it be the AWESOMEst if they all did the Cups song (When I’m Gone) all together on stage? Them doing “Riff Off” would be great too! A riff off the Carnegie! How historic would that be! 😊
